WIFI Logger and 118

I have a WIFI logger and was on version 116. Upgraded to 118 and it quit communicating to the WFL. I tried rebooting PC and WFL, but WD refused to communicate. Reverted back to 116, and it started communicating right away.

that is odd
as I have not changed anything re the Davis IP data logger functionality (I am guessing that is how you have WD setup?)
and I have just tested here with my IP data logger and it works OK

ps, never put your WD settings on a public forum for anyone to download
you should remove that

only ever email me settings

what shows in WD under view , debug info and view, program event log?

ZIP removed.

debug:

Doing checking of time zone calculation
Daylight saving in use
Loaded all time records
TCP/IP connected to 192.168.1.107
Doing checking of time zone calculation
Daylight saving in use
VP reception #1 22710 #2 711 = 97

That is my correct IP for the logger.
Program Event log is empty.

When I revert back to 116, Program Event Log is still empty.

Debug Info:

Doing checking of time zone calculation
Daylight saving in use
Loaded all time records
TCP/IP connected to 192.168.1.107
Doing checking of time zone calculation
Daylight saving in use
VP reception #1 22869 #2 716 = 97

looks like its getting some data as in mentions the data reception
if you could email me your settings backup file
datazipbackup82020.zip
from the databackup folder

I should also say, I’m going by the Data Recieved number below the time. That just sticks at 0 when on 118. On 116, I see the numbers ticking away.

data backup ZIP emailed.

I found the problem
only occurred if you happened to have set to use console rain total
use the latest .zip update
sorry about that

Yep, that fixed it. Used the ZIP to get to 118, and all is well.

Thank you.
