WD is currently showing sunrise at 14:29 and sunset at 01:40. See http://home.pacbell.net/ian_h/Allison.htm .
This is an interesting concept: the local time is not so out of whack with solar time even in Japan.
Any suggestions as to what could be wrong?

It sounds like you need to set up your lat /
long coords in WD. Go to Setup > Sun/moon rise/set
and lat/long setup and enter your lat long
coordinates. Do not use a - (negative) if you live in
the western hemisphere. This is just opposite of what
we normally enter but trust me , if you enter it it
will not work.
Thanks, Rupp. All location parameters were set to zero. I guess that that’s just one more thing that didn’t copy over properly when I replaced the hard drive and operation system on the weather station server.
