I am running WD ver, 10.12r. This ran ok for at least a week until yesterday when completly at random the Graphs on the right side of main display will all go completly flat (no data) for the whole 12 hours. As far as I know I have done nothing to the settings which cause this. Has anyone struck this and found out the reason?, any help would be appreciated
Thanks,
Robert
sounds like a change month issue?
the change in month for the graphs has been ok for me here

check for any error under view, program error log
and maybe you might have to restart wd?
Hi Robert,
I see your graphs started again at around 19:30. Did you restart WD at that point?
I had a similar thing happen to my station this last weekend because the computer lost communications with the, in my case, Vantage Pro. WD kept going using the last reading it had for all the graphs. Logged it too. I noticed it because the usb/serial adapter I am using has red and green ledās showing data transmission and there was none. Simply restarting WD re-opened the comm port and all was ok.
Good Morning Brian and Richard,
Thank you for your comments, I always restart WD if there are any funnyās crop up and (because I run OS Win 98SE) on that computer I almost always restart that computer.
I have just realised that that the only things I had done in the last week was [1] install the data logger (which I promptly removed when it first produced the dump of data) and [2] Altered the Graphics acceleration feature of windows (backed it right off) because I had had a problem with āpage protection errorsā producing the blue screen of death every time I tried to access the FTP set up page via the FTP Icon on the setup page, ( scince the new āIconā access feature appeared in WD) this cured the Page fault problem completely.
As soon as I read Brianās comments I tried to access the error log but of course it was empty as there had not been a problem since midnight.
One thing I did not mention was the first two times the fault occoured the data did not completly clear only a few hours and all times that the fault has occoured it was around the same time 16:00 hours.
Richard, the data always restarts imediately after the clearence occours but I always do a restart when anything like this occours as a matter of routine.

Hi all But in particular Brian, well it has happened again loss of Graphed data.
This time I did not touch the computer in question for 24 hours all was well until a few minutes ago and I took a look at the FTP log after doing this and closing all windows except the main one guess what , almost six hours of data gone???
Robert
P.S. I have posted this latest to my web sight.
I have found the solution!
Reinstalled version 10.10T and no more problems with loss of data, been running with complete stability for 48 hours now.
