When my dad plugs in his cam,and opens up the webcamcapture program, his whole PC locks up and takes a reboot to fix it. The cam is a logitech pro 9000. The cam itself works fine with the software it came with, but not with the webcamcapture program in WD. hes not using any extensions cables with it. The usb ports work fine, So i know thats not the problem. He also tried another type of cam, but the same problem happend and locked up. Anyone have any ideas on this? Thanks, Mark.

He’s currently running version 9.7 of the web cam program. Is there another version that he could try?
I think the latest version is 9.94 IIRC, there was a thread about it somewhere. Try a search. 
Ive done some searching, and cant find any of the links that Brian has posted for other version of the webcamcapture program. I know there around, but cant find them.
I really need to keep more copies…

The lastest verions of WD (10.37 build 35) incorperates the newest WD WebCam Capture vers 9.94
