I just changed my webcam software to ConquerCam and now WDL will not display the picture any more. I know that the picture is ok and that the path is correct as I have other links to it on the website.
WDL starts to load but then just gives me an empty window. Are there any restictions on the jpg file? Are compressed files OK?

I changed webcam software to VisionGS and it works again. There must be something in the way that ConquerCam generates the jpg files that WDL does not like.
I know Flash won’t load ‘progressive’ jpg so perhaps it was being generated in that format?

Since upgrading to version 3.06 I’m having the same problem. As far as I know, nothing has changed with my web cam upload. It was appearing ok in version 3.05. I copied the address I was using in 3.05 to the config file for 3.06. Now instead of a picture I just get the “Loading…0%”. Any ideas?

I think you’ve specified the wrong location for your webcam. Looking at your wdlconfig.xml file, if I go to the location specified, the image doesn’t exist.

I thought that was going to be the problem too, so I had changed the location to just camera/cam.jpg for the previous version (knowing that the “webpage” had confused things in the past), but that didn’t work. The current address webpage/camera/cam/jpg DID work with the previous version.
I just tried the entire address (http://www.allwest.com/~tarma/camera/cam.jpg) and that worked. (I had tried it withouth the http:// before and that didn’t work).
I am now thoroughly confused. Wish I knew why it worked in the previous version and not now, but I will take what I can get!

wooops… I just read down and saw the post about "progressive… well!.. Uncheck that in Conquercam and itll work perfect!!!

Im in Havelock North (I think Ill add that to my page). I have a Le Crosse 7000* unfortunately my wind sensor isnt reading for somereason. Maybe the wireless doesnt like transmitting thru the roof?
