Hi all. I downloaded version 10.16 this morning and now notice that the web table time is no longer showing AM/PM. It’s now 10:30 at night and my web table time displays as below.
LAST READING AT TIME: 10:30:00 DATE: August 19 2004 ,Time of next update: 10:40:00
i now have it the same format as the next upload time
in windows, check your regional settings, time, to change the format, and then will be reflected in WD too
Hi Brian. I checked over my settings and they are set correctly. The web table time was working correct for me in ver 10.15r. I noticed you had made a fix for the web table time and put it in the same format. I didn’t hesitate to upload to that version and it was working fine.
The other day I uploaded to 10.16 and The AM/PM dissapeared. Last night after I saw your reply, I checked over my computers settings and the decided to go retry version 10.15r. Installed it and AM/PM on the web table worked again. I uploaded it to a second webpage I have and saved the page. http://www.angelfire.com/fl5/theboardwalk/wxstation.html
Then I put back in version 10.16 and AM/PM is gone again. I didn’t think I was alone in this so I checked a few others wepages and see the same results there.
hi
what i did was make it the same format as the time of next upload, as people complained the formats were different
now it looks like some people didnt mind the format being different
what i will do is add am or pm, if you have that set in wd, under the extra/misc settings, to both the times, in the next version (10.16a)
Hi Brian. I downloaded 10.16a and am still having the same problem.
I can’t get the time to show AM/PM on the webtable which it did with version 10.15r. I checked the extra/misc settings and only see show AM/PM on time (will reset as hi/lo are reached) and have that ticked to show, but don’t see any option regarding webtable time. That person I wrote about in first post who was using 10.15v and was showing AM/PM on webtable, apparently upgraded to 10.16 and now his table is no longer AM/PM.
yes, i have not done this yet in 10.16a, i ran out of time
i will let you know when i have done it
patience is a good thing
(but I am cooking sausages for a School cross country day today, and before that taking a Lamb to school for one of the kids morning talkk at school…i.e a busy day it will be)
Well I hope that wasn’t lamb sausages you made them lol. Hey I don’t mean to come across as in a hurry. Not in a rush here. Just saw it happening to others also and wanted to catch before it affected even more people. I do appreciate your quick help to resolve this. I downloaded 10.16b a few hours ago. AM/PM is now showing on the webtable again, but now it’s displaying PM when it should be displaying AM and displaying AM when it should be displaying PM. Right now it’s 12:25 AM and the webtable says, LAST READING AT TIME: 12:20:00 pm DATE: August 24 2004 ,Time of next update: 12:30:00 pm. It should be displaying AM. Both the gizmo and the summary image display correct. It’s just the webtable AM/PM that is displaying backwards.
oh, thats a problem, as you have 12 hour format for your windows settings time format…
i think what i have done though is i have stripped off the seconds, but i also have stripped off the am or pm if it was there,…
i have 24 hour format, and the am/pm was correct for before midday, and is correct for after midday
anyway, what i will do is change how i strip off the seconds and see if that helps (i.e just strip off the seconds by leave what was on at the end)
Brian? Something strange going on here now. It’s now 1:50AM and the webtable is no longer displaying AM/PM again. It just dissapeared. I noticed when I first installed 10.16b that AM/PM didn’t work right away. I thought it wasn’t fixed. I watched a movie and when I looked at the page about 2 hours later, then it was showing AM/PM but it was backwards like stated in above post. I posted to the thread to let you know and an hour later AM/PM has dissapeared again. So now my time reads LAST READING AT TIME: 1:50:00 DATE: August 24 2004 ,Time of next update: 2:00:00
OK Brian I now have 10.16b beta installed and webtable is not showing AM/PM again . I’ll check it out when I wake up tomorrow as it is now 3AM and time for bed. Sorry and hope this isn’t turning into a nightmare for you.
Thought - Still don’t get why it would work perfectly in ver. 10.15r
through ver. 10.15v and not in these. I know it was OK with those.
By the way, I’m using version 10.16 and since 10.13, I think, the %time% tag gives, for example, 14.16 PM. I have choosen the 24 hours system and not to show AM/PM. Is this a bug?
Hey Brian. I woke up this morning and AM/PM is now showing and it’s correct, not backwards. I don’t understand why it didn’t work right away last night but it seems OK now. Will be keeping an eye on it and let you know anything if needed.
Hi back again. I’m sorry Brian but it’s still not working right. Now it’s working intermittently. Was working fine when I woke up this morning but at exactly 1PM this afternoon, AM/PM dissapeared from the webtable. It’s no longer showing now, but I do believe it will appear again later today for awhile. Haven’t pinpointed the time on that yet but then at 1AM, I think it will dissapear again. When I said something seems strange in previous post, this is what I beginning to see.
BINGO! Just installed the new 10.16b as you requested and seems to be working fine now. Still, will keep my eye on it today and let you know if anything is up. But I get a feeling that won’t be necessary. Want to thank you again for all your efforts and walking this all the way through with me. I was beginning to feel like I was becoming a bug myself lol. Was thinking I was going to have to bail out of the forum too. Whew! Glad that’s over lol. Thanks again Brian. Your the best.
well, thats good…keep an eye on it
its all good…
hae to head out now…to help do up a hogget for the freezer (there a stray hogget on the farm), and then playcenter with little allister…
Hi Brian. Ummm…still having trouble with the webtable time. I was just getting ready for bed and noticed the webtable is displaying 2 PM’s next to each other. Like this…LAST READING AT TIME: 10:50 PM pm DATE: August 24 2004 ,Time of next update: 11:00 PM pm. I checked the other persons page listed in above post cause I saw he upgraded to newest version and his page is now doing it too. It started somewhere between 6-10PM. Before that it was working fine.
