Web display not right

Hi all - just trying out Weather Display right now. I really like it so far, but seem to be having a small problem.
Uploads etc have been fine (playing with it on and off). When viewing my page, some of the images and information seems to be off - tried different browsers/computers etc.

If anyone would, please visit my page and tell me what I am doing wrong.

Thanks

what is your screen resolution?

hi
what you need to so is in your windows desktop preferecnes, settings, untik, use large fonts
try that

My screen resolution is set at:
1280x1024
DPI @ 120%

I had the “use large fonts” unchecked, then changed it to checked. Cleaned out the server folder and uploaded again.

Would my monitor (or display) settings affect the generated web page? Now you’ve got me thinking…I’m going to try to change my DPI back to normal and try it again. I had no idea that these settings would affect my web page build.

I’ll be bank with the results - thanks for replies so far.

its definatly a windows desktop settings, and yes, that DP setting might be the one

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I changed my DPI setting to normal and it did the trick! Now I have to find a different resolution to run. I’ll have to back it down a little to be able to read easily - getting old and can’t see like I used to!

Just one more question before I dig deeper into the program - on the site I uploaded…the links at the bottom of the page for past time graphs don’t work. Is this because I just started running the program and there isn’t enough history to generate these pages? Also, I get a red “X” at the bottom of the page. Its properties are “/sunmoonimage.jpg”. Will this also update on its own?

hi
thats good news
what was the DPI setting that it should be (and not should be?)
as I know others have had the same issue…(and i have suggested where to change the settings on the desktop but they have not perservered)

yes, those images will update at the next averages/extreme update (i.e just after midnight)
or go action, update averages/extreme now

I had my settings that way for working with images - just seemed to work for me that way. The normal is shown as “normal” in the drop down window at 96 DPI.

I’ve only been evaluating the software for a couple days now, and seem to be getting a feel for it. But…the most important part to me is support - you guys have just proven to me that Weather Display is right for me. I’m looking forward to purchasing and having a good long relationship with the application and the folks on this forum.

Thanks!

Check under view and sun moon image and make sure you have the lon. Lat. setup and check the box to show on web page.

Great!
yes, there is a lot to learn…LOL
i have started a help file…as time permits

(still along way to go to be any near being finished)

Thanks Steve - that did the trick!

Man, I have a lot to learn…I’ve been “obsessed” with this for the last couple days. I’m starting to relax a little now thanks to all the help here. Now I can take my time and really dig into all the features.
Also going to take some more time and dig through all the information on the forum.

My wife thinks I’m nuts!
