Wdxmlwarning.exe - Multiple occurances [RESOLVED, latest version]

what state and what county?

Washington State

King County

shows up for me
click on go, next to washington state
then King shows up in the list
then select that
WAC033

Found it, the scroll bar wasnt there the fist time so i couldnt scroll down to see the rest of them. Thanks Brian.

I am letting the new version run to see what happens before setting things back they way they were.

I did send myself a test message as well. I didn’t see the test message show up, I am going with my ISp on this one being at fault. I’ll wait a few hours and see if it surfaces.

I used to see a file : Wdxmlwarning.txt and I can’t find it now… where is it generated and stored? I did a look around but didn’t see it. What I would do is then upload that file and have it incorporated with my warning scroller.

So I need some help then.

should be called
noaawarningscrollraw.txt
in the web files folder

This new version seems to have solved the problem I was having; alerts/watches/warnings
are once again showing up on my website (%NOAAEVENT% is now correctly modified based
on my county warnings).

Thanks, Brian! :thumbright:

Found it. Thankyou.

the new wdxmlwarning.exe also runs faster and with less cpu
and also will exit if there is an internet connection problem to the noaa/nws servers
(was not before)

so some good improvements

Thanks Brian, you saved us again…

Thank you for your hard work Brian. It’s much appreciated.

Let me echo those thanks, Brian! It’s indeed much faster and works like a champ (but then, it part of THE champ - Weather Display)!

thats good
was a busy weekend as we had a family staying in a family beach bach from Christchurch to get away from all the aftershocks they have been getting,
(there was a 5.1 aftershock last night even)) for a week, which we offered for free for a week to a family from Christchurch, and we had them around for the afternoon for a BBQ and swim, but I still managed to sneak away every now and then and get this fixed…
