Weather Display Ver 10.37S144 on Windows 7 SP1
Now I notice that I can not connect to my MySQL.
It says Error. Out of Memory and date and time.
I incresed the ram and swap.
It does not help.
It has been working for ages. And now …suddenly…
Any advice ?
Is the database looking OK if you use a MySQL client to look at it? Also is there enough disk space left for the database to expand as required?

I am not good at mysql client
Could it be that I am on an old version of wd ?
Should I upgrade ?
Would that help. This one has been here at my place from 2022 (I belivie)
what OS are you actually using first post says windows 7 sp1 but you second post refers to ubuntu
That is correct. I run the WD client on a Windows 7 and I have mysql that I store all data on which is a an Ubuntu server. And the error appers when the windows is trying to send data to the ubuntu server.
Disk space doesn’t look like the problem. I assume you update the Ubuntu server/MySQL and re-start them fairly regularly?
It would be worth trying a newer version of WD. I don’t recall any MySQL specific fixes but that’s not to say there haven’t been any.
There were some MySQL issues reported in 2022, e.g. import data into mysql problem - #33 by Chipperdog
There were WD fixes at that time so perhaps an upgrade would help.

I will try to upgrade my WD! There can not be any harm done by bringit forward for 3 years.
This since I think the issue is at the wd side.
I keep forgeting please… tell me what is the proper and good fashion to to upgrade my current wd. I do not want to lose data like all my history. Was there not a wd.ini or something that needed to be saved. Allso, where is the settings saved. I do not want to reinstall my weather station.

Note there are no .zip updates now, only full install files.
And then maybe think about upgrading Windows 7?

So there is no zip update. This is a full install then ?
Then I need to be carefull regarding my history and settings.
History are saved in wdisplay.ini (history of altime high and low from my station)
But what about sftp and mysql setting and so on…?
I do think that that page you are so nice to point out for me needs some more work but that is since I am rather daft. 
Yes You are right but not now. Now I want to get this to work.
As long as there is nothing still running the full install on top of the existing version will not overwrite anything important.
The good part is that WDMySQL reports as it should. I can see it sends data to my MYSql. Now I just need get back my history.

That should not happen. I have updated WD many, many times this way and not lost a thing.
Do you have a backup of wdisplay.ini?
Yes ! I have both that and a snapshot of the old WD.
So now I turn everything off. No WD Client running and replace the wdisplay.ini ?

I turned off the Weather display by doing exit in the menu.
I waited and checkt that there is no other applications running.
When that was done I replaced the wdisplay.ini with the backup that I have.
I then restarted the applikation with Admin priveliges.
That did not help.
Looking at the All time records it will not change.
Crap ! I do not habve time for this now.
Any advice?
