WDL config serial number

Julian,
Would it be possible to change wdl so that internal browsers (on the same network) don’t need the serialnumber?
Now I can either use the evaluation version (for all to see), or the full version (which can only be seen externally).
My router doesn’t go outside for internal resolvable adresses.
ceescap.xseall.nl can be reached from outside my network, but not from inside. There I have to use http:\Bonzo, which gives a serialnumber error

Cheers

The easiest way to do this is just put your website address into the hosts file. Just in case you don’t know, the hosts file maps IP addresses to host names so you put your webserver internal IP address alongside your webserver domain name, ceescap.xseall.nl. Your PC will consult this file before it queries ISP DNS servers and will resolve your website locally.

You can usually find the hosts file at C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc - make sure you don’t add an extension to the file.

This works great for me. I have my computers setup with host files to match the domain I have registered with WDL.

Thanks, that did the trick
