I had to reinstall everything after a hd crash. Managed to recover my data, but had to install all programs again.
I had wdisplay up and running, except for the lan update of clientraw.txt and clientrawextra.txt to my local webserver. After some tweaking, wdisplay tells me it’s reading data, but the numbers don’t match my Conrad equipment… E.g. the temp is still at the point it was at 08:00.
Can anyone help?
I did produce a backup of the faulty settings.
Bit ashamed I didn’t do that to the working settings
i have a 2010-13 data logger, and its OK for me here
so, check under the ws2010-13 data setup that you have the correct outdoor sensor number to use selected
and also that you have a barometer offset set if you need one
clientraw location…you can set that in the client/server setup, in the ftp/internet setup
I was about to ask about the same thing. At midnight two days ago all of my data coming from the logger is the same. I’ve updated to the latest version, replaced the batteries in the logger, rebooted, exit and save several times. When I go to the 2010-13 set up and click on GET STATUS it says none of the sensors exist. When it gets data the sensors show but the readings don’t change. Is the logger broken? Any ideas of how to test it? The data at the LaCrosse display is correct.
daveq:
after replacing/removing/re inserting the batteries, dont use any software for at least 15 minutes, to allow the data logger time to sync up with the sensors
It’s a WS2310 and still not working As soon as it starts, it says 7C, regardless of the real temperature.
I did and even when I change it back, it’s still showing erroneous numbers.
Any help would be gretaly appreciated. It looks like WD isn’t reading from the ws2310 at all, even though the data read led flashes green, as well as the data quality.
ah, a ws2310 , i thought you had a ws2010
so, is the data received light flashing?
one thing:
when you remove the batteries, you will need to wait quite q while to let the console power down complelty and reset (and with the ac power removed)
Brian, I didn’t get to your reply about waiting a time after changing the batteries, which I had forgotten about, until I was at work.
