I mean you click on any of the buttons in the Control Panel and they do nothing. I can click on ok or cancel to exit out and that is it
Then I tried to click save and exit, and that didn’t even work.
Thought I would go back to 307 and then I really messed it up. Had to grab the ini from a previous backup. WD is in the process of a Davis VP history extraction.
see if there is an error under view, program event log
do not go back a version if you had to set to create the extradials.gif (as that was creating an error)
if you do want animated individual dial images then make sure you have ticked Animate the weather dials/large display/individual dials image’s (last 6 minutes, 1 minute interval records)

I was trying to animate the Dials Image and cloud height. Can you or not?

occurs if you were set to update the extra dials but not using the latest version
I was at blg 308 when it all went to heck.
Control Panel hung up. Couldn’t exit and save.
that error should not be occuring with build 308
I have tested here the extra dials creation and no error here
are you positive you had build 308 in use
at what interval/update rate do you have the weather dials set to update , using the customise internet and file creation setup?
if you have every 30 second update rate then that could be the problem
try going to just every 5 minute update (and upload) rate
for real time display I would look instead at the "steel gauges’
I wonder if the errors were from 307 when i reinstalled it after the 308 lock up.
Are the Control Panel buttons failing to work for you after you click on a couple and exit out of them? Bld 308
( Running Bld 308 = The lock up started after I went into Internet File Creation & Uploads, then went into Web Files/Web Page. Then after that I would try and click on any of the buttons with no action. I could click ok to exit. It looked like everything was working fine so I was going to exit and save and then that wouldn’t work.
Then I noticed VVP, Cumulus and Weatherlink were not responding. Could WD have started sending garbage back through?)
I’m back at bld 307… Since it is 10:15pm here. I will try tomorrow evening to upgrade to Bld 308 and see if the extra gauges work.
Sounds good on the animate. I will go back to the 5 minute interval.

Updated to Bld 308 and all is working. Must have been a odd glitch. Extra dials seems to be aligning properly. Only displaying apparent temp. Thanks for your assistance…
