WD not updating from Meteohub missed data history[RESOLVED]

Hello All

Having suffered some major problems over the past few days (there were 3 upgrades to meteohub software in 3 days) one of which may have had a bug, I’ve eventually managed to get WD Live going again…data looks good. Meteohub is posting to Wunderground, WOW, but not to CWOP or APRS but that maybe something else. When I start WD and it looks for the historic data, it says the last time WD was working was at 20:48 yesterday, and then it reads the data but the usual rolling time is missing as it reads the data. When it has finshed, the WD console only shows the current time, current solar, windspeed on the dial, but no dial needle activity and that’s about it. Can anyone allude to where the issue maybe?

Richard

Hi all

So things have moved on a bit…I’ve corrected the CWOP and APRS problem, and I’ve also managed to restart the WD webpage and WD console. So this it what I did. I downloaded and installed the latest WD update (26th Jan), and then I extracted the the databackup files from last month to the root of Wdisplay. Then I started WD and it played catchup with all the meteohub missed data since yesterday evening (about 24hrs worth). The only thing that have not remedied themselves are the temperature and humidity traces on the WD console graphs and they are just flat at the current temperature and humidity. Perhaps someone will tell me why that’s happening, but more interestingly, why has what I’ve done kicked started things…not what I expected.

Hi All

Oh dear, are started WD this morning, and I have to report that the issue is still there, it didn’t read the historic data from the meteohub. I don’t have time to restore a data backup until later today, but has anyone have an idea what may be causing this?

Richard

I replied in your other thread you started about this
there is though debug info under view, WS2010/WS2500 data setup

Hello Brian

Yes I can see the data ok, but trying to capture it, or even keep it still while I try to read it is also impossible? Are you suggesting that as soon as I fire WD up, I go to the debug and try and see if it reports an issue?

Richard

Hi Brian

Just managed to capture some missed data info from debug…I hope it makes sense to you!

Richard

increase time 90.zip (19 KB)

you could have easily just copied/pasted into notepad.exe and uploaded as a .txt file instead of using M/S word

the debug info refers to date/time being wrong

note that meteohub uses UTC time
so you would need to make sure the time zone in WD and windows is set correctly

Hi Brian

Sorry about the Word format, I’m so used to using it and appreciate that notepad doesn’t add formatting. Anyway. I have copied you the meteohub settings which to my knowledge I haven’t altered. As UTC and GMT are essentially the same, then are you suggesting I need to set either WD, the PC or meteohub at ± 1hr?

Richard

meteohub time and settings.txt (580 Bytes)

from your other thread , I take it this is not a problem now?

Hi Brian

As I’ve had a number of issues…I can’t remember…I’ll check it out!

Richard
