WD Icon has bogged off!

Hi Brian

Not necessarily your problem this one but just in case…

I noticed this morning that the WD icon that normally sits down by the clock has vanished. It’s not in the hidden icons either. So I had a look in Task Manager and it’s not there either.

I couldn’t run it as a service as it started before the internet connection was established and that caused all sorts of problems so I start it manually now but it has been running happily for several days.

When I tried to start WD again it told me that it was already running which is what I had assumed as the website was being updated correctly.

Is this one of your doing or is it down to SP2 and Bill Gates again?

which vers of wd?
as i have found and fixed a potential bug
also, check the file program errorlog.txt before restarting
also, do you run a virus checker…and make sure no power saving modes set or similar

I think it it is Bill Gate’s problem.

Looks Like I’m running 10.18 F. I got it back by shutting down and re-starting it and so far it has stayed there:)

It’s my friend now and I didn’t like losing it.
