hi again

I did what you suggesed list time - but after 25-30 min. the program crashed again. I has been crasing all the afternoon today. Before it was crasing it was only crasing down 1-2 times a week - and freezing all the windows, so I had to close down the computer - before I could start WD again.
Now it is only the WD that’s crasing - and I can restart it again without restarting the computer again…

I have trayed to go back some versions - but it dosn’t help.

You can see here the errow message down below…

the new 1017s crashed again
carl

hi all

I just downloaded the last WD - and it still crash. It seem’s that it crash almost everytime it’s starts to FTP.

Brian I found the WDISPLAY.INI in C:\windows and when I look at the file it is updating each minute - but when the FTP starts to upload, it crashes.

Should the WDISPLAY.INI be in C:\wdisplay ?

carl

are you using the latest ftpupd.exe that comes with WD?
its now 7.40
as it does not access the wdisplay.ini file at all, becuase on some setups, windows does not like more than 1 program at a time accessing the wdisplay.ini file
maybe check your security settings, or a secrurity program running
