Hi All,
Is there actually a data file somewhere that produces the index.wml?
I can’t seem to find one, maybe it’s hardcoded?
Regards,
Michael

Hi,
the default index.wml is auto generated by WD internally.
If you want to use a custom WAP file you need to create a waplocal.txt file for WD to work from, with custom tags for the data values your require, and make sure the “use my own custom WAP file” is ticked in the WAP setup.
hope this helps
Hi Martyn,
Thanks for the reply, I thought it must be internally coded.

its actualy that the its uploaded and then the name changed on the FTP server
but i could change it so thats its produced in the webfiles folder and then uploaded from there
Hi Brian,
I am getting a copy of the index.wml produced in the webfiles folder.
I was looking for an original data text file that I could customize easily, the same as you can already do with your datahtm text files.
Cheers,
Michael
you can create a custom wap
tick to do that in the wap setup
and then create the file name needed and add the tags to it…
