W-D uploading zero length files to web

Howdy,

For the last few months W-D has been intermittantly uploading zero length files to the web server. The filenames are there but there’s no data. Here’s a sample file listing:

-rw-r–r-- 1 fdw fdw 0 Nov 30 16:22 wx.html

The zero before the date is the file size. The same is the case for the image files:

-rw-r–r-- 1 fdw fdw 0 Nov 30 16:21 fortdavis.gif

This used to happen maybe once per month but now it seems to be almost every day.

I have another machine that uploads to the same web server without any of these problems.

Any idea what’s up?

maybe try ticking the option to rename the file on the server, in the connections setup, (if your server allows that)
