What has changed in WDL versions 1.07 and 1.08?
It would be good if the changes were noted in this forum for WDL users to find out.

Julian has been doing that on this forum.
See the version 1.07 thread, which 1.08 address the concerns and wishes of users, on that thread,and it also fixed a scaling issue which I found (but the km/h issue that you just found did not seem to be a problem before 1.07).
Julian lives in the UK, and its 1:30am there, so he will answer this Q and probably start a new thread about 1.08 too, when he wakes up in the morning and has finished his daily chores, etc.
but the answer to what was changed in 1.08 can be found in the version 1.07 thread on this forum.

I just thought it would be helpful if each time a new version is announced in this thread the message also contained what had changed in the new version.
Is there a mailing list for updates for WDL?
hopefully Julian will take that on board more (i am sure he will)…but just a fyi, he does it in his spare time when he gets home from work 
Hi, yes I do normally start a new thread on this forum each time I release a new version but the 1.08 release may have gotten lost in a differently titled thread. The changes in 1.08 are very small, basically a bug fix regarding the scaling of the wind instruments and putting the version number in the WD link.
You can find a release history in the readme file in the WDL download package but I’ll also add a release page to the new WDL website at http://www.weather-display.com/wdl/
