WDL v2.04 is now available for download. Quite a few bug fixes and tweaks in this one as well as some new options which should have been there before. To make use of all these features you’ll need WD 10.17p or later. Note there are also quite a lot of additions to the config file which I’ve itemised below.
The main enhancements to this version are -
[list]Added W/m2 option for solar sensor.
Added snow fall text options.
Added decimal point option for mB or hPa for barometer.
Fixed bug with ‘meterHumidity’ for extra sensors.
Added all the extra sensors - now 16 available.
Added Beaufort option for wind dials.
Days without rain now shown instead of rainfall rate if more than 3 days without rain.
Added mercury barometer instrument.
Fixed tooltip for Barometer when displayed as a VU.
Added km/h option for French users.
Added Norwegian wind direction settings.
Fixed couple of errors in configuring_wdl.pdf.
More amendments to German language.[/list:u]
You must update the config file if you wish to make use of the new features. You don’t need to if you don’t intend to use them. You can just replace your config file with the new one or you can manually update it if you’ve already customised it. If you’re going to manually change it then these are the changes you’ll need to make -
0
Add this tag to the main configuration tags - setting to 1 will give you a Beaufort scale reading in the wind dials.
1
Add this tag to the tag - setting to 0 will give 0 decimal places for the mB and hPa readings as required for some weather stations.
0
Add this tag to the tag - setting to 1 will display the W/m2 reading under the solar bar.

Add these tags to show snowfall as text boxes on the screen. You’ll need to place them as required.
Finally add these extra sensor tags after the existing ones to make use of extra sensors 9 - 16.
