Using http download and View Downloaded images

I have set up weather display to download images from an external web site (radar) every 10 minutes. From what I can see with the view downloaded images it should be able to keep an updated animated image. However what I am finding is that files are being produced image.gif image.gif1 image.gif2 up until image.gif5. My question is how do I then use these to produce an animated gif. Also is it possible to have more than the 5 saved.

Thanks
Doug

hi
you should be able to set the number in the sequence up to 6, from memory, and to animate, select the image with no number in the sequence, under open file, and tick to remember that file, and tick animate auto
try that

brian,

Thanks for that. I hadn’t tick the remember file option.

PS Great program

I am having a difficult time DLing images for my local radar. I am not sure it is even doing so.

Question:

  • Can someone instruct, in detail, how to DL radar images into WD?
  • I would then want to incorporate those images, as an animation, and display them into a WD image block as a custom image if this is possible. Can someone detail the process for that as well please?

I have been running WD for over a year now, and love this program above all other related programs. This area has been a problem area for me and may simply be due to the fact I have not followed instructions in the past properly and gave up on it.

post a screen shot of your http download setup
