I need to completely remove Weather Display from my system so I can re-install it cleanly with the default settings
I’ve tried uninstalling the conventional way, as well as manually removing every file I could find, but my old settings are still there when I reinstall.
Can someone help?
the only “hidden” file not in the wdisplay directory should be in /windows directory and it is called wdisplay.ini.

or c:\winnt if you cant find it in c:\windows
you will also need to run regedit.exe, and search for wdisplayftp.ini
and then delete that whole key (highlight it) from the registry
(while WD is not running)
or
install to a new directory
and create a file there called 2wd.txt
then wd will start up like brand new, from that location
I did remove that file. There must be another one somewhere.
If you haven’t already you will need to remove all the files from the registry! I know of 2 right off wdisplayftp.ini and wdky.ini but you will have to get a number from Brian again for the register after install!
Thanks Brian, that worked. Everything seems back to normal now, and I still seem to be registered
