Brian,
Since 4 Oct I have been unable to get WD to convert wxlocal.html to wx.shtml. The ftp error log reports that wx.shtml cannot be found, but there is no mention of any error processing the wxlocal file. Same is true of wxlocal2 thru wxlocal13. I do have the .shtml suffix specified both in the custom web page setup and in the customized upload schedule setup.
I have tried using 1 minute updates, as well as all the others. I have tried using only the normal scheduled uploads as well as the custom uploads. Neither seems to work anymore - they were working prior to 4 Oct.
automan, try re setting the webfiles location, under setup, webfiles and web page setup
fred: i have fixed a bug with the test button on the custom setup page
but the new thing now(and it states it next to the extension to use) is that the source file needs that extension too
i.e you need a file called wxlocal.shtml to create the wx.shtml from
(instead of say wxlocal.html creates wx.html)
that is a change i made…
and that should fix that
i have duplicated the disappearing icon, so i will fix
You are absolurely right! The screen does say that the wxlocal… files must have the same tag as the converted file. But I read it and the meaning didn’t sink in. Must be getting old! All fixed now and my uploads are aperaing again. Thanks for the assist.
Same, problem
ftp just get stuck on the first file and times out after 6 mins.

Also sometimes when it did work it would place the files in the route of my web site rather in the subfolder called “weather”
My fault
Seems on of the rules on my firewall were preventing ftp from working via your software (ftp still worked however via my WIN FTF Pro software) - Rules were updated last weekend to enable VPN connection.
Anyway I have restored my rules to last week and it worked first time.
I will try and compare the rules to see if I can see which one was stopping it from uploading correctly (it would just make zero byte files).
