Hi

New to all this. Can you tell mw whether it makes any difference if I use either Unix or NT hosting for my web site to upload WD to?

nope, it makes no difference if you are uploading to another computer for your hosting. I would choose unix, but I am partial :smiley:

only thing is that a unix server is case senstive for names of the files :slight_smile:
(just be aware of that)

It also depends if you want to do any server side processing. For example if you run Unix or Linux with Apache you’ll need to know php or Perl, for NT with IIS it’s usually asp or asp.net. If all you want to do is upload static files though it doesn’t matter.
