Hi
I am making a comittment to do or do to fix the time on the graphs, now that I have fixed the logging interval time, over the next 24 to 48 hours or so
I have made good progress already…
its just a long process becuase of the slow update rate
and I am also commited to getting the solar data working correct from the ws2500 station too
I have found where in the data stream that data is now, by bringing the solar sensor inside, and putting it in darkness then in light…
Brian,
Thanks, and good progress on the 2010-13 data so far.
Thanks Brian. No problems with the log anymore and date rollover!!!
thats good
i am also to fix the occasional double up…
i have also found where i left in some experimental code to draw a box line around the times on the web grpahs, which does not look so good
jeffmauzey, i see you have a screen shot minus the graph area
i could get wd to do that auto…as another image to create…
That would be awsome, right now I have to adjust the size of the Iframe window to block out the graph. I know it does’nt work well with netscape, I would be nice to have it as a second image.
Thanks,
ok, i will get it done in the next 24 hours or so
i have the 2500 working pretty darn good now for the time stamp, and i even have the LUX working correct, and I assum wm/2
in a new 10.10y beta, uploading now
it will be ready in another few hours
Brian,
Do you think it is posible to buy the 2510-LUX Sensor and get it work with the 2010-13 wireless datalogger?
Thanks,
no, that would not work
but maybe if you connected it up to a labjack.com and used that in wd…
i am out now to do some spraying of weeds, i will leave this ws2500 going here to do more soak testing …
so far i have confirmed I finally have the LUX reading working correct in the 10.10y beta version uploading now
horray!!
I have tried numerous times to upgrade from my purchased version of 10.00a and have gotten horrible results so I decided that upgrading was pointless unless the problems are fixed.
I use LAcrosse WS2010 as my station.
When I upgraded the 24 hour savedgraph.gif was awful, time lines not even, hourly time markers all bunched up to the left at the bottom of the graph.
Also the Averages/Extreme option inView Panel produced double lines for each date in the current month when opened. And, the 24 hour Wind Run FIgure was completely wrong, missing completely in first line for a specific date and much too high in the second line for the same date.
In short, I am wary of updating again unless I hear that the problems for Lacrosse WS2010 have been fixed.
In short, I am wary of updating again unless I hear that the problems for Lacrosse WS2010 have been fixed.well, thats what 2 people on this thread are saying, thats things are looking much better, and I have said i am comitted to getting it correct but thanks for the confidence (not) anyway
don’t worry everyone, Brian will get it. He fixed the Davis Vantage Pro logger download after a long battle too, patience is the only weapon you need
i guess people have a right to be angry
i have fixed up the graph history too,…
still some issues to fix like with solar /indoor data
a new 10.12 is now working OK for the ws2500 with getting the data at start up (i.e the graphing of the data at start up)
still a few things to check/improve with normal operation
and then i will test/fine tune the ws2000 (ws2010-13 data logger)
uploading a new 10.12b now (beta or zip)
that is working much better for the 12 /6/3 hour graph
will be ready in a few hours
for the ws2000 type station (ws2010-13)
i am out all day at a conference now
i have spent alot of time and testing
and its very very good
in fact its perfect!
(for the ws2010-13 data logger!
horray!
10.12f
which is availble, for now, from
http://www.weather-display.com/uploads/wdisplay32.exe
Brian,
I updated to 10.12f but every few minuets it tries to open another copy of itself. At that point the logfile just starts repeating the same entry at that time eg. The same minute over and over untill you press ok and close the new copy of WD.

I went back to version 10.12c. this happens with 10.12d as well.
Sorry
Brian
I have been waiting for you to work on these (2010-13 & 2510). This seems to be the best one yet. The graphs are starting to spread out with times that make sense and the logs are coming in with 3 minuet apart times. One problem is I have set my 2010-13 to 15 minuets. Will this be adjustable or do I have to use 3? I am the one that goes away for days at a time and relys on the proper day and time stamping of the data as it is downloaded. I hope you found out a way to determine the age of the downloaded record.
I also have a 2510 which I may test after you get all the bugs out. For now I run the 2510 with the software that came with it. For your information the 2510 is very sensitive to what time you download the data, it constantly gets com port errors and I have to retry several times to get all the data (PC Weather Station 3.15). I would think this would affect your WD software also. I believe the 2510 is busy doing other things and ignores the com port sometimes.
I will do some more testing and supply better feedback.
jeff, i dont have that problem at all (of it starting up other versions of WD)
check you dont have wdwatch running
Edc, ok, i will get wd to check the time interval you have set on the ws2000 screen
also, with the 2510, i have done more fixes/improvements there as well, and it should be better, but , yes, its primitive serial data logger…shame…its a modern slick looking console with a primitive com port interface behind it!
Brian, Are you saying don’t run wdwatch?
not with your weather station type, as because of the way it stores data in the log file only every 5 minutes, wdwatch thinks wd is not running, you see…
