yeah, because there is no time in the data from the history records extract at start up, then wd had to “go back in time” then
" forward in time"
i am going to improve this
(and it was better , but it now seems that the time starts not back in time, but at the current time
i will see if i can improve it in the next few hours
(just been at playcenter with our 2.5 yeard old)
actauly,the 2010 windspeed is wireless
but, moving the data logger as far away from the pc as you can, should help

I’m using the latest version and the problem still exist concerning time data. The problem filters through the entire historical record as seen on the attached snapshots. If this is a problem that cannot be fixed due to limitations of the ws2010 PC interface, then I respectively ask for a refund. The historical data base is useless without correct timing. Thanks.

i have looked at this some more,…it only seems to happen when there is an extended period of down time…ie when you are not using wd for say overnight…
so, yes, a refund you can have

note that you can fix that incorrect day number in the noaa report by edting the day number in the log file 112004lg.txt
around the time of the midnight time change
what is happening is that wd is advancing the time too fast as history data is added…and then once it gets to the actual time, then rather than go into the future, like it was, it just keeps repeating the current time…
what i need to do is find out how many records actualy get downloaded from the data logger, then know how long wd was not running for, then increase the time based on that divide number
sounds easy, but will take some time to test and work through it
( and i am just about finished getting the ws2310 data extracting working correct, and so i will have more time (in between doing relief milking, and writing now 2 sets of minute for the local fire force)
but i will give you a refund since you asked for it, just email me
wswin software probably handles this whole situation better

well, the data logger is very primitive in its abiliity ,it cant even get data and comminucate with the pc at the same time,.,it can only do one thing at a time…
you should have a email now saying you have a refund from world pay

Long time no speak.
I’m also having this problem with the time stamp. I do not seek a refund, wd is worth every penny for the other features, but is a fix in the pipeline.

i nearly have finsished perfecting the time stamp from extracted data at start up
also, i now have the CRC error checking actualy working for real, so that will stop data spikes/incorrect readings
maybe try 10.19o to see the imrovements so far
