Perharps this question isn’t the first one about that…
I’ve got a WS 2500 weather station…
Today, and two days before, there was some rain…
The Ws 2500 gauge tells me 4.8 mm, and WD says 8.0…
Another time, it was 7.8 for WD and 6.4 for the gauge…
Where is the problem ??
Is there some setting which must be made ??

I’ve had similar results in the past - posted a couple times about it. Brian has been looking into it - no concrete results so far.
My problem was WD not keeping up with the console rain amounts. The last time I had rain though it was a very heavy event - 5.8" in about 14 hours. I’ve changed a few things around, but haven’t had any rain since for testing.
Do a search for "rain’ etc - will bring up quite a few posts to read.

now, eagel, also, note that wd stores its own rain totals
which is default reset at midnight
is wd running all the time?
is the rain being reset at the correct time in wd?
what time is it being reset on the station?
is the station time correct?
i.e are you comparing apples with apples?
snowman, the latest version of wd should be better for rain for the ws2310, especialy if you tick modified rain gauge in the weather station type, next to the ws2310 setup
Ok - found it and ticked it - I’ll let you know if it ever rains again here…
