Hmmm…there aren’t many ladies here. I think I’ve only ever seen one or two out of the nearly 900 members here. Maybe weather watching is mainly a male pursuit?

There used to be a store near me that sold lots of imported beers. Lepard Lager from NZ was pretty good. Bass is a good one, and if you can find it, XXX from Mexico is excellent, although mosttly you can only find XX.

My ‘local’ that’s been a pub since the late 1700’s (no that’s not military time!) hosts a beer festival once or twice a year. Over the week that it’s on they probably put 60-70 different beers on…many of them quite rare and in one case brewed for the first time in over 30 years specially for the festival.

Must be cousin Charlotte

Keep cool, guys. The day you have the opportunity to taste some portuguese Sagres, Cristal or Cintra, then you may say: “Where was this blonde hidden for so long?”

well, even though it is 21 here, that has never stopped anyone. I think it is more like the mafia and tax evasion. It is something to "bust" people on. It is something the police can use, for example, to shut down a party..... there is most likely going to be someone under 21

The only reason that Sweden can set a ‘No minimum age’ is that you need to have saved up for 40 years to be able to afford anything alcoholic!

evening all…

Its good to see its getting a little busier in here…
We do need to get some more women involved…but this weather watching does seem to be a male thing…

Well I hope everyone had a good week… I know I did, productive and all, (I am building a house and they are going to start the diggin next week)…

Well bartender what do we need to order… and give me a Rum and Coke while you tell me…

I didn’t know they built underground houses in Arizona?

I’m confused. In the bars I’ve worked in, the customers tell the bartender what they want. If you want a recommendation of what to drink, you could try this last bottle of 1787 Chateau Lafite. It’s a little old now, but still drinkable and a real bargain at just $200,000.

I’ve never seen wine that expensive in a bar, but a few weeks ago I did eat in a restaurant where there were wines listed up to

Actually they build a lot of stuff underground or partially underground in AZ to save on cooling costs. It's disconcerting the first time you arrive at what looks like a single storey office complex and discover there's another 4 floors below ground level 8O
