Stored ftp settings [Resolved]

Been a while since I’ve been on the forum.

My main computer crashed a couple weeks ago. And I’m trying to put Weather Display on a different computer.

Davis Vantage Weather Station.

Are the ftp settings stored anywhere? I’m trying to recreate what I have without access to the crashed computer but not having much luck in remembering how I set it up. I do have backup. And access to the settings files but I can’t find how I set up the upload site.

Moving WD to a new/different PC

To move your current Weather Display to a new PC, follow these steps: Read this entire FAQ, including the notes, before starting the move! On the old computer, from the Weather Display main screen go “Action”, “Back Up Windows Registry Entries”. Shut down WD to close all files. Now copy C:\wdisplay and all sub directories from the old computer to the new one [note 1]. If you are using files and/or images from other locations on the old computer, you will also need to move them to the approp…

in your backup look for the databackup folder

then look for the first 3 files if you have all three then with WD not running copy the ini file to main WD folder and double click the reg file to install the reg file these 2 files contain all you setting
if only the zip file is there unzip and the same 2 files should be in there
