Stationless METAR Problem

I insalled WD 10.17p in stationless mode. I’m setting up some 1-wire sensors next week, but want to get wind, pressure, and humidity from my local Metar (KHVN.TXT). When I clicked on the “use the metar to update…” box, I got all data except humidity (temp, wind, direction, baro). When I unchecked it, and check “use humidity value…”, I got the correct humidity. Then I checked the “use barometer value…” and got the correct value.

Then I switched back to “use the metar values to update…” (and unchecked others), and only get wind and temp - neither the humidity nor baro update (I tried multiple stations).

Then I uninstalled WD, cleaned the registry, removed the ini files from c:\windows, and started over. Same problem!

Any help greatly appreciated! i love the progam, and want to use it as my 1-wire data collector (about 6 temp sensors in all). None of the 1-wire settings are set at the moment.

Thanks

I should have added that I’m running this on an Athlon server (WinXP Pro; 512MB RAM, few apps…). FWIW, it seems that I can generally either have a full “METAR station” minus humidity (& sometimes minus Baro), or I can specifically select humidity only and lose Wind, Direction, etc.

It’s almost like they are mutually exclusive, but clearly the code is able to parse Humidity in the humidity only mode.

i will test and fix

ok, i found the problem
(it was after I fixed some things up with just using baro or hum from the metar)
uploading a new 10.17p now
download a new version in about 2 hours time

Thanks a lot, it works great now! My registration is on the way.

One more question… I’d like to use METAR Hum, Baro, Wind and Direction for now, but use 1-wire for indoor temp, outdoor temp, and extra senors (rain etc). I’ll probably eventually add “real” wind and baro.

Does this mean I would need separate check boxes for “use wind only” and use “wind dir” only" like the humidity and baro, or can i simply check the “Use METAR…” and override the outdoor temp with a 1-wire? Otherwise, I guess I’s have baro and humidity, but would be stuck without ind data.

Thanks,

yes, untick oveer ride all, and tick just the ones needed…
but i dont have a tick for use wind/direction though!
