Son of a gun - it's a problem with clientraw.txt file !!

Julian made a copy of his clientraw.txt file available and WDL works with his data! I was wondering if my clientraw.txt file was okay early on in the trouble shooting process.

Brian - how could the file output get corrupted?

I feel really good that now that I have a handle on the problem. I’d feel really  good if it worked.

i will get a new linux version out soon

I’m glad to know that for once the issue/problem is not due to my lack of understanding the application  Let us know when the new version is ready.

Hi
I finally got my linux HD to connect to my new broadand wireless internet connection, via the router…
I just need to tick use DHCP, and tick something else (i forget now), then the connection wizard closed…( i had been there before but thought it had not worked), started up a web browser, pointed it to http://www.weather-display.com/, and vola, internet on my linux!!!

so, then i just ran a gftp session, and uploaded the latest zip linux version
which should fix the clientraw compatibility issue with WDL

download from
http://www.weather-display.com/downloadfiles/WeatherDlinux.zip

   :drinking:

Hi Brian,

Betcha you are one happy high-speed surfer! I’m on the road with my laptop and currently connected with about 44kb speed and it’s agony. I want my broadband!

I’ll be back home in about a week and I’ll download the latest and give it a spin. Thanks for getting the update out
