Solar plotting after data extraction.. always shows 100%

Hi…

another one for you …??

I have just added a solar sensor to my new VP…
8)

I have noticed however, when I reboot and datalog downloads that I geta maxed out solar reading which looks horrible on my graph.

Any ideas ???

I have the problem too. The values are around 40.000 or 90.000W/m

There’s another thread on this somewhere, the VP archive download isn’t working for solar. I sent Brian some data and he was working on it but then the whole rent-a-cow and house move thing came up…

I did have a scoot around the forum, as often someone else has already had the issue and Brian has solved it

But I couldn’t find anything on this “feature”

Hi Brian

I had to quit out of my PC for 30 minutes tonite… When I rebooted the datalogger worked fine, but the solar scale still maxes out to 100% for the entire period of appended data…
:?
Any plans on a fix??? :?:

Hi guys

This 100% SOLAR after a data log dump is a pain… HAd too reload after a crash last night and ended up with a band of yellow for SOLAR at 4am 8)

Any news on a fix???

I also seem to get graph spikes (downward) every day on temp, bara and humidity, which is something I didn’t get with my Lacrosse??

Is this a known issue?

Hi John, If you have time set (in data logger setup ticked), and also if you have clear data logger daily ticked it used to cause spikes, (I am unsure if it has been fixed, I use neither) humm I think time set takes place at 6.05am and clear data logger at 11.05am if your spikes are occuring at that time, then I suggest the original problem still exists. As for your solar problem, I dont have that, but then the pc running WD runs 24/7 and I dont download "bulk"data.

i have ordered a solar sensor myself
but
make sure you have ticked in the solar setup:
store the solar data as extra temperature #4 for graphing solar on main screen

re your spiked:
sounds like you migth have a reception problem…check in the solar/vp real time graph, for the reception plot
