Show unread posts not working

Edit so far today since I changed back to using my old link to the forum Show Unread Posts has worked every time. The real test will be tomorrow when I boot up in the morning and see what happens. In case you want to try this the link I use is http://www.weather-watch.com/smf/

Thanks for that link Stuart! Since I started using it the “Show Unreads Posts” has worked every time for me in Firefox. 8)

That could have been my problem too. My bookmark URL had a session ID. I didn’t even bother to check when I bookmarked it. :oops:

Including an old session ID in your bookmarked URL will definitely cause problems. You might be using a session ID that existed a year or two ago and which no longer exists. I didn’t think there were any places left where the session ID was displayed in the URL, so the bookmarks that include it might have been created a long time ago when they were used. Can anyone with a session ID in their bookmarked URL remember creating the bookmark very recently?

Just found I’ve also got a session ID saved in one other forum’s bookmark. I need to start paying closer attention. :banghead:
