I wondered if any one could shed some light on this one for me??
I have a soil moisture/temperature/leaf wetness station, and have not figured how to get the data into wd coreectly.
The station is set up as follows:-
soil temp 1 is bare earth temperature
soil temp 2 is grass temperature
soil temp 3 is 100mm below surface
soil moisture 3 is 100 mm below surface
leaf wetness
In weather station selection I have soil temp, soil moisture, leaf wetness and extra temp sensors all checked.
When you view davis VP extra sensor info, all values show up correctly, matching the values from the console and wl software.
When you view the extra sensor graphs, only soil temp 1 shows up correctly, all other values are 255 indicating the data is not being picked up.
The x2004vantagelog shows 255.0 for soil moisture, and shows the correct temperature for soil 1 temperature sensor.
The x2004 vantage extrasensorslog shows temp 1 to 7 at a reading of 255, with hum 1.2.3.4. showing 255 and hu5,6,7 showing 0.

the solar/uv real time time graph should actualy be plotting and showing the soil temperature 1 and 2 and the soil moisture 1
check that for starters/…///
i need to make it so that you can allocate davis vp soil temperatures 1 to 4 as extra temperatures 1 to 4 to plot on the extra temperature graph
(at the moment they dont…thats one of the problems)
the same applies to the vantgeextralog
its stores VP extra temperature readings…but that does not apply to the soil temperature…but i can let you set that…i will do that…
I have looked at my graphs, and two things are being plotted, on sensors 2 (yellow) and sensor 7 (grey). I can’t work out what the first one is plotting, but the second one seems to be plotting solar wm2.
Not much help for you I am afraid. I will have a closer look tomorrow, and see if I can find what the first one ties up with.
