I just upgraded to version 10.37N build 12 and now the rain chart appears so:
most likely if will be the last window size stored problem
try
under setup, advanced/misc
main screen
enable customisation
then you should be able to make that rain chart window wider again
then close
or
delete the registry (for wdisplayftp.ini) entry
[detail display colour]
last height=
last width=
Ok, solved, I have resized the window
