Question about Graphs and data

Occassionally, much less than before, but it still happens… I get a spike in the data.

The most common offender is humidity.

When this occurs, I update the data using the Action → View Correct Logfile/Rain… and then to make the graphs look right, I use the Setup → Graph Setup → Correct Graph Setup to smooth out the graphs

My question is, why can’t I correct the data and have WD redread the logs to regenerate the graphs. It would seem to be more accurate than using the Graph smoothing function to get exactly what was in the datalogs itself…

But I am guessing there is something else involved… that I’m sure Brian will enlighten me about… :stuck_out_tongue:

you can
just edit the log file directly, to edit out the data spike
i.e 102004lg.txt
then use the action, convert wd log files to graphs, function
(and then just click on convert)

Cool… I think that is a bit easier and more accurate.

Thanks…
