PWS Dashboard: feeding by clientraw.txt - lightning

Hi!

In a test installation to test my own clientraw.txt generation, no lightning bolt is displayed (“No lightning data found for this station (yet)”), although the time and date are contained in the clientraw.txt (fields 115 and 116).
Do I still have to adjust something so that the last lightning is displayed when feeded by clientraw.txt?
Or are the lightning-related values in the clientraw.txt just ignored?
It’s not an acute problem - I’d just like to understand.

The lightning data is processed from the (2) Nextstorm files directly. Not from weatherdisplay/clientraw.
WeatherFlow and Ecowitt are also possible options.

Oliver, I updated now as descibed by you the in the wxforum the foshkplugin config, hoping to see the last lightning in pwsashboard now…:

However, as not processed via clientraw.txt, not visible in pws dashboard.

Hi Wim, as you wrote: WeatherFlow and Ecowitt are also possible options.
How/where to enable Ecowitt? As I upload my data also to Ecowitt, the last lightning was recorded March 11 an 11:30AM .

However, did not found any options in easyweathersetup.php now…???

The data from an ecowitt station comes from custom upload. Not from the Ecowitt website.
Your data “./jsondata/ecco_lcl.x23qs34s” has for lightning

    [lightning_time] => 
    [lightning_num] => 0
    [lightning] =>

The last lightning data is lost when you install new firmware, which you did: GW1000A_V1.6.6
There is request at Ecowitt to save the data when installing new firmware, same as the rain-data is saved.

As soon as there is lightning data it will be displayed in the lightning_station_small.php block.

Yes. Unfortunally. But if one is feeding PWSDashboard in Ecowitt format via FOSHKplugin (and only then) the outgoing data line (format EW) will be filled with the last known lightning through FOSHKplugin. http://discourse.weather-watch.com/p/550407
