For a few days, the time of the minimum temperature has stuck at 1845. The attached will show this, over 8 hours before 1845!!! The recorded temp of 7.4
Sorry to bump but today it says my minimum will be 8.2
Have you tried
Action => Reset Daily Extreme Values?
Maybe you’d rather avoid that as it resets them all?
If you’ve tried that, or prefer not to, maybe take a look in the [Extereme conditions times] section of WDISPLAY.INI
Does the Min temp line in there look at all odd, i.e. corrupt?
Manually tweaking that line (with WD shutdown of course) should be like a “min temp only” reset. Maybe doing that would shake WD out of its rut?
Just a few thoughts…
OK, thanks. I’ve altered the 18:45 to 05:50 in the INI file. On restarting, it has displayed it correctly. I’ll have to wait until tomorrow to see whether it reverts, stays at 05:50 or displays the correct new time. There was no apparent reason visible in the INI file.
Keeping fingers crossed!
It now appears stuck at 05:50, but I can’t be sure, yet, because the min was actually somewhere about that time, despite the hour’s DST difference from the previous day.
Still need help!
It HAS stuck at 05:50: today’s minimum was nearly an hour later but it still says 05:50, which is in the INI file. What is the mechanism whereby this is calculated and the correct value inserted? What can I do to correct this anomaly?
PLEASE???
the temperature has to beat that miniumum for a new time to posted
Thanks for the reply, Brian, but I think that I may not have made myself clear. The time displayed is always (every day) 05:50, no matter when the minimum temp occurred. The min temp is always correct, it is just the time that is wrong. Last night, for example, the min temp was 11.2
Devil may I suggest you check both the log file and the data file (using View/Data Log File) and see what temp actually shows at 05:50 on the day in question.
Stuart
