I seem to be having issues with sending data to wunderground. Weather display does not appear to be sending data anymore, and if I go to do a test send, it sends the same readings everytime, regardless of what the readings truely are. Anyhelp…

this is a forced upload…it does not appear to be uploading automatically anymore for some reason. I have updated to SP2, I have turned on and off the firewall, no changes either way.

Also, If I go into the Program error log, it looks like this

that error will be stopping the update…
i have a few report of that error…
not try a restart of wd and or a pc reboot

I’ve tried a reboot, a reinstall over current version and neither worked

The latest version, the problem is I do not know how long this has been happening. The data that I force it to send is the same reading all the time regardless of what my weather station or weather display says
is the data on the graph on the main screen updating?

yes it is, the graph is accurate, the data stream out is not

is that updating ok?

and also in the wdisplay.ini file (from C:\windows or C:\winnt)

How would I purge data files…or should I just uninstall the program and reinstall it fresh. This problem happens to anything I send data out to and the data file it sends is always the same readings, but not what is being recorded.

in 10.17, the actual data sent to wunderground is shown at the bottom of the wunderground setup screen…check that too
to reset data:
exit wd
then delete the file latest.inf from the datafiles folder
then restart wd
then go action, convert wd log files to graphs…then click on convert
to reset the data used

I’ll try that, another thing that I noticed is at the top mine now says
“Weather Display 10.17a -Client (comm port disconnected)”
Is this part of my issue?

yes, that means no data from your station…
now, have you checked the actual data string at the bottom of the wunderground setup?
also, check you dont have share the datafiles ticked in the extra/misc setup (see under setup)

seems to be fixed now…the problem was apparently something to do with the weather talk setup under control panel. A feature that I have not played with for months. Anyway, hit the reset button under it, hit ok, hit save and exit, and presto, all fixed.
