Problems with extracted data

Hi, still haev some problems with extracting data after stopping for a while WD and started again

each file with data as “customtextout” (few topics I made about that) has a problem like this, even this file

17 12 2004 1 1 0.00 0.0 2.1 0.0 255.000
17 12 2004 1 1 0.00 0.0 2.1 0.0 255.000
17 12 2004 1 2 0.00 0.0 2.1 0.0 255.000
17 12 2004 1 2 0.00 0.0 2.1 0.0 255.000
17 12 2004 1 3 0.00 0.0 2.1 0.0 255.000
17 12 2004 23 51 0.00 0.0 2.1 0.0 255.000
17 12 2004 23 52 0.00 0.0 2.1 0.0 255.000
17 12 2004 23 53 0.00 0.0 2.1 0.0 255.000
17 12 2004 23 54 0.00 0.0 2.1 0.0 255.000
17 12 2004 23 55 0.00 0.0 2.1 0.0 255.000
17 12 2004 23 56 0.00 0.0 2.1 0.0 255.000
17 12 2004 23 57 0.00 0.0 2.1 0.0 255.000
17 12 2004 23 58 0.00 0.0 2.1 0.0 255.000
17 12 2004 23 59 0.00 0.0 2.1 0.0 255.000
17 12 2004 0 0 0.00 0.0 2.1 0.0 255.000
17 12 2004 0 1 0.00 0.0 2.1 0.0 255.000

the hours in bold are extracted, they are wrong, the values are AFTER the real time…
The hours in green are right, the good one, recorded every minute

It’s the same bug in each file of the “logfiles” directory, and of course in “customtextout” file…

I have the 1020o version

A few weeks ago, I remember that it was working fine…
Cheers

there is no time or date information in the data from the data logger, for your weather station type
so WD has to do some guessing:
i.e it works out when it was last running
then it knows the current time, then it knows how many data records arrived , and then it tries to divide up the missing timer interval by how many data records there were
its not going to divide up nicely every time, and it will not be perfect everytime
If you had a Davis VP, which has the time and date data actualy in the missed extracted data, then WD does a good job.

So How is the solution for this problem ?? no way ??
Everything else seems to work fine…
Just this boring thing… One solution is to let WD running all the time… But I need to stop sometimes…

Perharps, I’ll erase hour data in the customtextout file… I make some graphics with this file…(in Excel XP software)
