Problems when processing VP Dataloger-Max temp not recorded

My station (WD hung up) was down today from around 12:40 to 17:55.

When I re-started WD, it correctly processed the missing data from the datalogger. However, I noticed that the recorded daily Maximum temperature, which was 79.3 at 3:45pm was only recorded as the maximum wind chill. (Maximum heat index was recorded at the same time) The maximum temperature was recorded as 76.1, which was the high when I restarted at 17:55.

In other words, WD did not pick up the maximum temperature, but did catch it as the wind chill, which at these temperatures is the same.

Have any other VP owners noticed this. When processing data from the datalogger, all the high and low readings seem to be calculated correctly except the Maximum Temperature. That value is computed without looking at the data from the logger during the “down time”. In my case, the max reading was for the time I restarted (5:55 pm). Even though there was a peak at 3:45 pm in this graph.
