I just noticed that txtwindchillminmax and txttempminmax show the same min/max. It looks like txtwindchillminmax is the one in error since the windchill drops below the min and the new min is not reflected in txtwindchillminmax. I am using WDL 4.12 and WD 10.35d. I also set up a test page using WDL 4.11 and it shows the same thing.
What does WD say for min max?
Are those values the ones in the clientraw parser?
Have you allowed at leat 10 minutes? The min max values don’t update so often.
Where would I find he min/max windchill in WD?
I never used the parser. I’ll have to look for it and run it and let you know later in the AM since it is kinda late now.
I have been monitoring it for over half an hour and no change.
Edit: One thing I see different is WD currently shows the windchill of 56.6 and hasn’t changed while the windchill in WDL is constantly changing. At what temp does WD start calculating windchill (50F?)?
I am now at the same scenario as last night. The results from the clientraw parser are as follows. The windchill and temp in WD at this time shows 58.3. WDL Tempminmax shows 66 and 55 and Windchillminmax shows 66 and 55. Instwindchillminmax changes and goes below the min but min does not change.
what is happening is that the windchill now in WDL is always calculated, even if the temperature is higher than the official cut off for calculating windchill, and which I have set in WD to be 10oC (50oF)
i.e that threshold is used (where the windchill equals the current temperature when the temperature is above 10oC to calulate the daily minimum temperature
so the solution is to use that same upper threshold cut off (10oC)with the current windchill in WDL
the next update of WD will have that in use
