Just been looking at the mysql data today and noticed that the max_gust_current_day value today at 12:25hrs shows 28.7 but the main screen shows 33.0 mph. I was wondering why. Am I right in thinking the mysql data is knots and the main screen mph?
Would be nice to know what all the units are for the mysql data where there is a possibility for more than one and its not obvious.
I remember reading somewhere that the default unit for wind in WD is knots. I would say the main screen units would be how you have the units set up in WD.
The MySQL database wind speed etc. is definitely in knots. Try searching for “28.7 knots in miles per hour” in Google and you will see you are correct in your thinking :).
