In Baton Rouge, when the wind is from the south (I think) off of the Gulf, I occasionally get a dialog box stating that I have changed the curvature (or something like that), select Normal, then Regional, and something else I can’t remember. It looks like the map is showing buoys in the Gulf. I close the dialog box, manually import and use the data, click OK, and the forecast takes off on its own again. This only happens every few days and not all day long either. If it would help, I can try to remember to get a screen capture when it occurs.
That message isn’t a bug or an error. It’s just that after you change the curvature (either manually or using Search), you must click Neutral and the Regional Data again to re-load the upwind sites list, because it will have changed.
Does this come up in auto mode? If so, I might need to look into that.
Thanks!
Tom
Yes, it comes up in auto mode. It stops the forecast until I close the dailog box and manually import the data. It’s not consistent as to when it occurs.
Dan,
Next time it does that, can you send me the file it was trying to import, and also the log.txt file and latestlog.txt? That might enable me to figure out what the problem is.
Thanks!
Tom
Done. Thanks for looking at this.
I think I have this fixed now, for version 11.6, due out soon.
