Problem with clientrawrealtimeftp

This morning, all of a sudden (10.01am) my clientrawftp stop uploading. The error message displayed, over and over each time it is re-started is:

Connecting to FTP server.

301: Interrupted.
Connected.
CWD wdisplay/weather
301: Interrupted.
ERROR: 101: You cannot change the RemoteHost at this time. A connection is in progress. at time/date 12:03:58 PM 11/2/04

The regular FTP is taking place every five minutes and is having no problems. I was running 10.18x and tried upgrading to 10.18y with the same results.

clientrawrealtimeftp is version 3.2

nothing has changed with the program except for the upload of the clientrawdaily once a day
so its something else to do with your internet conneciton and your ftp server, and nothing to do with the program
no problems here

Thanks, Brian,

I assusmed that. It was running fine with 10.18x and suddenly stopped by itself. But I can still do manual ftp’s with cuteftp, the regular WD ftp is still going on fine, I know I can have multiple logons takeing place at the same time, but I get that error message about a connection in progress. I was looking for insight as to what those errors might mean.

I have shut WD down for 5 minutes and re-started but have the same results. I will try re-booting. That will be a first for me. I am using VNC and have it set up as a service. (I’m at work right now) If I try re-booting remotely and it doesn’t come back, then I will have to wait till I get home.

Thanks for the response. Again, I was certain it was not WD, but was hoping to find out what might be causing those errors.

I’ll let you know what happens. I have a scout meeting tonight, and then we have to see how our election goes. I so much wanted to go into the voting booth and roll a quarter out from under the curtain and ask if it was heads or tails. Dumb politics.

Update - No bug…

A re-boot of the computer fixed it. Must have been something corrupted. Windows had been running for over a month without a re-boot. It was time.

BTW - VNC works great! Re-booted the computer and after I came back in a couple of minutes, it was waiting for me to log into windows. The only think I can’t do is pop in a CD.
