How frequently does WD poll the Lacrosse WS2310 weather station? The station is running hard wired rather than wireless.

Under station setup do you have “It’s being used wireless” unticked?

yes, its about every 3 seconds…because, only 1 set of data can be obtained at a time…and so it gets wind, then temperature, then wind again (so that it gets a new windspeed reading every 6 seconds), then humidity, etc

How long does it take to get a full set of readings ie all parameters - if it gets them one at a time?
well, things like temperature will come around in the cycle more often…
barometer will be only once in the cycle././.
i.e it depends on which reading…the ones with change the most, like wind speed and wind direction it keeps coming back to

Just interested to know the time for a full cycle to get all ws2310 readings.
I have noticed that other programs eg Heavy Weather etc - take between 4-8 secs to read the current data.

you mean windspeed only every 4 to 8 seconds?
No what I meant was a full set of current weather station readings eg Temp in & out, Dewpoint, Humidty in & out, wind speed, direction and text, rain 1hr, 24hr, total, pressure + indicators take between 4- 8 seconds
