Genesis chute fails to deploy and it bites the dust

I wasn’t listening intently to the news, but I’m sure they said it entered the atmosphere are 25,000mph, but only hit the ground at 100-110mph. That seems like an amazing deceleration without a chute!

That seems like an amazing deceleration without a chute!I couldn't find any confirmation of that 25K, and it doesn't sound too credible, but it was definitely the 100 to zero in 30 inches that caused the damage :wink:
