Odd looking humidity graph when usin g10 .18a/b

I am getting an unusual humidity plot .

Did you try rebuilding the graph data?

that is not humidity
that is the windchill
which now switchs to plot heat index or humidex when the temperature is over 17oC

but why its choppy like that, i am not sure at the moment…are you set to use humidex in the summary image and icon setup?
also, to be less confusing i would change the windchill to a colour other than that of the humidity

no,

ok, so its plotting the heat index then
but, try ticking to plot the humidex instead (i.e in the summary image and icon setup, tick to use humidex)

i have been sent another persons data, but it was not like that
BUT, i did fix a bug with this
so try 10.18b
oh, but you already tried 10.18b?
humm
zip and email me your data file latest.inf

File is zipped an emailed. I just ticked the box humidex as you suggested. I am also going to download a fresh copy of 10.18b, just in case something didn’t make it over the pond.

10.18a and I have the same problem with the heat index graph.

humidex is not checked.
Show windchill (or heat index) is not checked.

Dan

Show windchill (or heat index) is not checked.

i think you will find it must be ticked to do that in the graph setup, otherwise it would not plot it
(i can turn it off here myself) 8O

ok, my boobo, re the graphing jumps, etc

it was a mistake with differences in units of oC and oF
sure wish the USA was using oC, would save me alot of headaches
I will get a new version out to fix, but the server is down at the moment
(but i have a temporary server in use)

that change would be alright with me, but George the lesser Bush probably couldn’t figure his oil millions accurately. Of course you could make that feature the “Scientific” scale and only in metric.

that new 10.18c zip version should fix it

that change would be alright with me,

without getting myself in trouble with Chris and with the Republicans…

OK. Truce.

But really, The US loses tons of money by not using metric units by the slight factor difference. It would be nice to use some things in metric and some thngs not. That is the beauty of WDLive. There it is the viewers option to use it.

OK. I am going to download the c version and see if it makes it all better.

OK.

“Flying Ferret?” Now that is a line I can use tomorrow at parent conferences. Thanks.

By the way. the 10.18c version seems to be working. of course the wind chill and temperature are superimposed on each other. and that is the way it is right now. We are supposed to be getting some wind and rain and cold, the stuff that happens here the next two days, so I think the lines will separate enough to view it. Wouldn’t you know it would happen, I have parent-teacher conferences the next 2 days -8am to 8 pm ( 3 block walk to car - where are the police when I need them).

By the way. the 10.18c version seems to be working
horray!

( i try to stay away from Polotics myself, LOL)

I am going to regret this …
BUT Niko doesn’t live near by and…

The trouble with political jokes…they sometimes get elected. Now if they all promised a weatherstation to vote for them, I might…
