Both my test sites have this latest file now see earlier post for links and seem to be working ok
dispite all Wims hard work on this i have not seen any warnings (see post 30 for links using meteoalarm ) so i am not sure why because they are on the map on meteoalarm website
AFAIK your lat and long have to be inside a warning polygon - and they are not:
. . . which seems a bit unfair, in this case.
the uk met office map shows the same it misses us so as that data is supplied to meteoalarm, so unless the area happens to cover the island which is rare i will not get a warning
at least my main version using uk nw still gets a warnings
the only way it would work is to put a different lat long in the warning scripts instead of using my normal location
You should add an extra lat,lon in wrnWarningEU.php|02|2024-10-22|
line 18.
Leave your current lat,lon in the settiings as thaere could be a warning for your area only.
Success,
Wim

only just read this been a bit busy
yes they are both showing a warning at the moment will add a location in Cumbria tomorrow evening all being well thanks Wim
Meteolalarm seems not to be showing the same warnings as the Met Office today. . .
I just noticed that beta site is showing warnings, original site no warnings…will try the new file on beta for original and see if this works
I’ve got Met Office alarm on beta, nothing from MeteoAlarm on 2012. . .
EDIT: The warnings have changed, and MeteoAlarm is now correct.
strange i have met office on original and no meteo and meteo on beta and met office
Yes I would agree
Yesterday Ronaldsway issued an amber warning for Friday but this is not included in met office data and last night the bbc also said so during the forecast at the end of the news
And in reality the whole of the Irish Sea should be covered by an amber warning in this case
The amber warning has been updated and a red warning has also been issued by Ronaldsway
Looking at the met office warning’s I may get a warning on Sunday
Yes, Northern Ireland is now red. . . And I see what you mean about Sunday
EDIT: And now Edinburgh’s red, too.
