No night icon in the night

Hi

Hmm - I do not know which settings I have made wrong - or which one I have to change - but I do not get a night icon in the night - not on the main-window of Weather-Display - also - not on the summary picture on my website. I have always the same picture there - the sun and some clouds.

So - please can someone tell me which settings I have to change to get the night icon? Thx

Here are my settings for the summary-picture - and I think I have made everything correct so that the night icon should appear on my summary picture on the website…

My settings for this - I think the Moon/Night Icon should be there - or not with these settings?

But my summary picture looks always like that - also in the night…

I hope someone can tell me why I do not see a night icon on my main-window or on my summary picture.

Firstly is your Lat and long correct.
Then tick but leave the icon to be updated by your weather station.

What is in your solar setup ?

yes, i am thinking itd maybe becuase you have not got your lat/long set correct
but also, check under , input daily weather, you do not have ticked, use this icon as the main screen icon

Hi

Ok - I found a solution so that I have right now a night icon - I will tell you how I have made it.

First - look here:

As you can see - my Latitude and my Longitude is ok (the red number 2).
Also - the times for the sunset and sunrise are ok for my lat/long.

And of course - my Windows Time is ok - also my timezone - there was not the problem.

I have had a look in the file Wdisplay.ini (c:\Windows).

And I found this here:

Latitudesec=0
Longitudesec=0
hour fine tune=0
minute fine tune=0
minute fine tune 2=0

Hmm - I thought about this here —> day all time=yes

Why day all time??? I set this “manually” to “no” - so the line looks like that here right now —>

[Sunmoon]
day all time=no

After I have saved this and I have restarted Weather-Display - voila - I have a night icon at the night - wonderful!

I only wonder why I have “change” this per hand in that file - isn’t there a setup menu for that? A little bit mysterious - but now it works!

the setup for that is off the bottom of your sun/moon setup screen,which is why you cant find it,.,…but its normaly off by default

Thx again for “fixing” this problem - now I can see all settings/options in this menu - after I can maximise and scroll this window/setup.

I do not know why it was setted to “day all time” - yes.

For what is that option good - day all time? Sorry - but I do not understand the use of this option.

But Thx anyway for the help and the opportunity to see the whole setup menu now.
