Version 10.17-Beta - After going through the new web cam setup all worked fine for about 5 hours, then it stopped recording the camera completely.
This a.m. I went back into the setup and the picture it was showing in the camera setup page was the frozen image from late yesterday, then on the second setup screen, it appears to have been showing the actual camera image as it was black as it should be with it being nightime. I went through the reconfiguration again, slooowwwly responding and upon exiting back out of the webcam setup, the dreaded MS XP error message came up and it closed down WD. (The usual XP plain vanilla variety message stating the program has caused an error and XP is shuting down the application)
Restarted WD - no soft boot - and it appears to be capturing the data again, eventhough it is nighttime here. I had gone into the setup screens yet again and exited without a problem. Go figure :?

Not too good with this version. At 00:19 this a.m. the webcam picture froze again and along with this, my CPU usage for WD was hanging at 50-54%-consistantly. I was finally able to enter into the webcam setup and tried to get it to reconfigure and that phase finally was so bad I couldn’t get it to do anything, and then the MS XP vanilla error came up again and it shutdown WD. I restarted WD, went back into webcam setup and was able to get the capture started again.
Not sure if this is part of the other problem that others are indicating but at the time I couldn’t get into see the error log as by that time XP was attempting to shutdown WD-which is did. What is the file name and location of the raw error log file?
Yes, I’ve noticed it must be a very busy day for ya after checking the problem reports.
Frequency is every 10 minutes…

the latest beta version has a patch for delphi that looks to fix some memory access errors
and it also has a new debugger added, which captures errors…and click on more details, then email me what is shown there (actualy i get it to automaticly email me even!)
